My 2 bears that were taken not far from each other on the same day. The larger bear is 6'4" and the smaller bear is appx 5' 3".

Another shot of my bears with 2 of our guides, the knife in the photo is one I received from my friends at CRKT, the new Brow Tine Hunter performed as advertised with all of the skinning it was subjected to on this trip. Both of the bears were taken with my Montana rifle company built 280 Remington using 140gr Barnes Triple Shock bullets. Over the past 3 years I have not had to take more than one shot on any game animal using the Triple Shock bullets.

I have to say a word about my 280 rem that Montana Rifle Company built up for me. For 3 years this sub-moa rifle (140gr Barnes Triple shocks) has performed flawlessly for me and it is responsible for 4 black bears, one moose and numerous whitetails and not one animal needed more than one shot to go down immediately. If you are considering a rifle purchase take a look at Montana Rifle Co  they will really take care of you.
