Another shot from the top of the wheelchair stand, this stand is something that has to be seen.

Joe at the top of the blind, all it takes is a little assistance to get a wheelchair hunter to the top platform for a safe and comfortable hunt. The way it is designed it is ideal for anyone with a mobility issue.

Joe's bait barrel as seen from the top of his stand. Joe shot his bear just to the left of the bait.

Joe and the biggest bear of the trip 6' 6". Joe shot this bear the first night on his stand. There were 2 bears and they hung up just out of view, Aaron had to leave the blind and walk to the van then leave to get them to come to the bait.  Fortunately Aaron snuck back to the blind quick enough to get Joe and the bear on video when he shot. Joe took this bear with one shot from his 270 with 140gr Barnes Triple Shock bullets.

Wounded Iraqi Veteran Doug Button, unfortunately having misplaced many photos from the trip this is the only one I have of Doug. Doug joined us on the trip on his own and unfortunately he was not able to connect with a bear on this trip. Doug did not even see a bear over a bait the entire trip, I sat with him all day on our last day of hunting just hoping to see a bear venture out to the bait but unfortunately it was not to be. Doug will be going back to Iraq in January of 2009 and we hope to have him join us on another hunt sometime before he ships out.

The first night we arrived I was more interested in taking photos and video of bears if I could find them. This is a photo of momma bear, she had 3 cubs with her and they entertained us for almost 2 hours. On one occasion momma climbed up to the 3rd step on the ladder.

A nice shot of the bait barrel as the 3 cubs play and eat all they can.

A picture of momma bear as she walked below our tree stand. The tree stands were fantastic and all were capable of seating at least 2 people in chairs very comfortably.
