Pike's Lodge front entrance Pikes Lodge, where the adventure always begins in Fairbanks. The only place in town we will ever stay and if you are planning a trip to Fairbanks you will NOT be disappointed. Aerial view of Pike's We are always treated like family by the entire staff and if you need a reservation tell my buddy Christena, Doug sent you. Tip- If available get one of the log cabins if you have the kids with you or just want some extra room they have 2 cabins with sleeping room for 4 per cabin. Pike's Lodge Waterfront Cabin A special thank you once again to the Fairbanks Transportation Department, every year they bless us with the use of the van above to transport our disabled sportsman, it is fair to say that without the van we could not hold the annual hunt due to the limited availability of accessible transportation for our hunters. The door in the back has a lift for raising our wheelchair users. Hunter Carl Flemons prepares to be lifted into the van.

The annual pre hunt BBQ held on the dam at Chena Lakes with many of the hunt volunteers and sponsored by our hosts from Chena Lake flood control project Corps of Engineers staff.
This years hunters L-R Art Bartman from Pennsylvania and Carl Flemons from Alabama. Unfortunately we had 2 hunters that had to cancel prior to the hunt as we always try to have at least 4 hunters.
Hunting blinds built by the Fairbanks Kiwanis club in 2006 for our hunters. This year John Schaake the Corps mgr for the Chena project had them foam sprayed for both warmth as well as sound reduction, they are far beyond comfortable and certainly welcome on those traditionally cold days during moose season in Alaska.
