A great photo of the Kershaw Echo on a Brown bear paw, credit to our friend Jake Jefferson. Jake is a professional hunting guide in Alaska and has used the Echo on numerous bears, Sitka Blacktail deer and Mountain goat for his clients during the 2007 hunting season and he loves it.
Kershaw Echo 1070C The Kershaw Echo combines Ken Onion's contoured handle with a powerful drop-point blade of durable AUS8A stainless steel. The Echo's handle is all weather, molded Polyimide, contoured for an extremely comfortable, secure grip. This unique shape means using the knife is less fatiguing, even when in use for long periods of time. The handle is drilled to accept a lanyard. The Echo comes complete with its own camouflaged laminated-leather sheath that secures easily to your belt.
"The Kershaw ECHO is one of the finest cutting implements I've ever used! As an Alaskan big game guide my equipment gets put to the test every time an animal hits the ground. My ECHO is typically good for at least three big game animals before needing to be resharpened, I've never owned a knife than holds an edge as well as this one. This knife is aptly named the Echo because you'll use it again and again and again and agai....." Jake D. Jefferson- December 2007 Black River Hunting Camps LLC
I have been using the Kershaw Echo for 2 years now on all my hunting trips, I have to say that it is just a fantastic knife. Easily goes through a moose, cleaning, skinning and boning and with a touch up it is ready for another. Definitely Alaska Tough and well suited for the harsh weather and obstacles that Alaska can dish out.. Doug Warren- May 2007 Founder-Alaska's Great Outdoors
